Governor Chris Christie went to Pennsylvania in support of his fellow republican governor, Tom Corbett of Pennsylvania. Governor Tom Corbett is trailing within the polls for their upcoming election, and Governor Christie came in support. Christie claimed that Corbett put more in education funds than any other governor in Pennsylvania did. While they both struggled with hardships within their states, Governor Christie brought a level of charisma with himself that allowed him to be re-elected for his second term by a landslide. Due to his lack of engaging charisma, Governor Corbett is not having the same election as Christie had for his second election. Self-presentation is a key component in giving a well impression of one’s self and could be a reason why Governor Corbett is struggling in the polls. According the article, Corbett focused on the evils of particular special interest groups and I believe that kind of focus could cost him the election. Families that live in Darfur face violence and bombs, forcing them to flee from their homes because of the conflict in Sudan. The club started two years ago after some students learned about Darfur in their AP history class. They come up with creative fundraising ideas and commit a lot of work to bring school supplies and funds to Darfur. Last year, one thousand dollars were raised to give to Darfur. The club constantly tries to get their community involved and raise funds to support those families that fall victim to the violence in Sudan. In addition, the club is spreading awareness of those who need help in Darfur and to make more people aware of the desperate need these families
