Have you ever thought of what would happen if there comes a time when you need to defend yourself with a concealed weapon? There has been some good debates on whether or not we should be able to carry concealed weapons. Gun rights is a very controversial topic that is a wide debate today, however, I don't think we need restrictions. Because some people think that guns raise crime it actualy lowers it and it makes the Americans feel safer, the 2nd amendment allows it, and it keeps the power with the people.
We shouldn't have gun control because the reason that most americans carry concealed weapons is that it makes them feel safe. The government has always thought that we carry guns just because we can or that we want to cause trouble. However that is very untrue most americans because we will feel safer where we go and no matter what the case we will be able to defend our self. For example “According to a 2001 study by the national opinion research 59% of people who carry a gun outside the home do so because it makes them feel safe” (Gun Rights pro con). That's technically over half of the people that really do carry guns carry it to feel safe. Most peopl who want to get rid of our right to bear arms are blind to the fact that the constituition actually states that we have the right to bear arms. Tbe 2nd amendment staes “A well regulated miltia being nescicary to the security of a state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed”(Gunrights pro con). Our nation was found on these ideals and this documents gives us the rights that we cannot be taken away. So if its in the constituion we should not change it, since it is obviously our right to have a concealed weapon. So to conclude we have rights as we the people and you can not take them
