Social media is a big contributor to bringing racial profiling out of the shadows and into the light as there have been many famous videos that hit the web and helped spread the fear that racial profiling has brought back into this society. Racial Profiling happens everyday and at all times, but yet the news only covers the biggest cases when it comes to the subject. The news does not care about what happens to these people that are affected by racial profiling, An evil so big as this should be covered and be brought out to the light as fast as possible so it can come to resolution, According to “Racial and the media” by Yixuan James it states, “They are not interested in changing racial profiling but rather capitalizing on it.” Ignoring the everyday cases that happen all through the world just to focus on the big cases, Using this serious issue to only spread the negative parts that happen such as riots, and the violence behind it and not ever showing the other side to the argument.
