Our education system isn’t doing so well. Thousands of students drop out of high school every day. America’s students continue to perform poorly on standardized tests in comparison to the students of other countries across the globe. As our education system has noticeably begun failing our students, many people have put the blame squarely on teachers. On both state and national levels, the Government has begun blaming teachers by holding them accountable to unreasonable testing and grade metrics despite the fact that there are numerous other problems that exist.
The pressure of maintaining these preposterous standards have led many teachers and school districts across the country to dishonestly pass students along from one grade to the next. …show more content…

learning can be achieved with different approaches for each student but is this nearly impossible in a classroom with many students. Moreover, teachers have to be more specific at times which is not always easy for some students. Many students carry the burden of working soon as they get out of class to support their families, maybe two jobs or more this may be as to why they don’t focus on passing their test but just making sure they just get out of the classroom with a passing grade however the case maybe take time to study and prepare …show more content…

All students, even those who have learning difficulties and extraordinary personal challenges, can do well when they are physically comfortable, mentally motivated and emotionally supported. In my personal opinion whether it's math, history, science, or language, teachers have to cover a lot of material in class, and students have to keep up. Giving a test is a way for a teacher to see which students are learning the skills and knowledge they should be learning, and which ones are having trouble. Depending on how kids do on the test, the teacher will know if he or she must go back over some things, or if it's okay to keep moving forward. It’s up to you whether you pass or fail. If you feel comfortable with a question or assignment always feel free to ask your teacher or instructor questions.
The facts are that there are pros and cons to every type of learning environment. Students have to evaluate both the pros and cons factors which contribute greatly to making an informed decision about the direction of his/her career path. Students have to decide, how they are going to accomplish their goals whether its online, in the classroom or a combination of
