Due to the United States winning against the Empire of Japan, we now have a chance to invade the mainland. However, because of the large number of allied deaths, we must think about the decision to invade the mainland. What would be the consequences? For starters, it would add a lot of casualties to the count. We could even lose the advantage against the Empire of Japan. Although it has risks, it still has benefits. We would be able to sort out the military from civilian lives, something we would not be able to do if we dropped the atomic bombs on Hiroshima & Nagasaki.
