However, the creators of the Constitution also left somethings out so that future leaders could determine and interpret laws in a way where they were not really restricted to doing something one specific way. This helps a lot when it comes to the changing of times because the time during in which the Constitution was drafted and ratified, the environment of the nation was much different from what it currently is today. Yet, around the nation, there are plenty of people that equally despise the nation just as much. They could potentially be plotting something way worse than any Muslim immigrant could ever think of with the advantage of already being a citizen of the United States. However, no one actually really knows that to be true. Based on past events, Muslims seem to be “scarier”. It could be the after effects of 9-11, yet may be not. However, though morally, he may have been off, President Trump, seems to have had the right to turn it into legal legislation. Honestly, if it would not have been a power hecould exercise as the president, it would never have gone through. In one of the articles given as stimulus for this essay, it said, “under the Constitution’s conception of separation of powers, this (Trump’s legislation) is the pinnacle of lawful executive power: an area in which (a) the president has a reservoir of his own foreign-affairs authority; (b) the Congress, responsible for prescribing the terms under which aliens may be admitted, has vested the president withmaximum statutory authority; and (c) there is no legitimate judicial oversight role” (Ninth Circuit).
