The Scientific Revolution The Scientific Revolution started in 1543 at the end of the Renaissance. We get many of our modern scientific ideas today from this event. During the time of the Scientific Revolution, a new way of gaining knowledge about the world had developed. The Scientific Revolution began when events during the Renaissance took place and more and more scientists began to make observations about the world around them. Science, a particular way of gaining knowledge about the world, was focused on. Logic, or reasoning that is well thought out, also played a key role in this time.
