In the article, “The Stripes Will Survive” by Jacqueline Adams tells us how Siberian tigers were endangered in the wild so the zoo brought them to an exhibit while also boosting their population. In the article, “The Zoos Go Wild From No More Dodos” by Nicholas Nirgiotis and Theodore Nirgiotis tells how silverback gorillas are captured by Zoos to protect them from going extinct and transported to a big exhibit out in the wilderness. In the article “Our beautiful Macaws and Why They Need Enrichment” by Alica Powers, she tells how hard it is to take care of their blue and gold macaws and the difficult task of keeping them healthy. The zoo puts in a lot of hard work to feed the tigers and water them, they also have to be careful replacing the food and water. This evidence shows how they take care of the tigers and how they care for the animals in the zoo. In the article, it says”WWF believes that the number of Siberian tigers in the wild has doubled since the anti-poaching patrols began.” This shows that the zoos have been taking care of the tigers and how they protect them. In article 2, it shows how the zoos also take care of the endangered species, the silverback gorilla. As they take care of the gorillas, they realize that they are sad and don't like the exhibit that they live in, so the zoo makes them an enclosure out in the wild. In the article it says” His cage was a real prison, and Willie B was a very unhappy gorilla.” This shows how the silverback gorillas are unhappy with their enclosure and how they want to be out in the wild. In article 3, it shows how the zoo employees take care of the macaws and what they do to help them. They have to take care of the macaws themselves.
