All of us get just one fresh chance to start as a freshman in college, and I got this chance at UC Santa Cruz. I was amazed when I took a campus tour of UC Santa Cruz and found out about the irons in the fire UCSC offers. I was excited as well as nervous to start a significant part of my life at UCSC. Out of multifarious lessons life has taught me before I joined college is that no one can control change, one can only choose whether or not to accept it. I still have a lot to learn as I start my four year college adventure.
As we look at Exhibit A, The Summary Statement of Target, something that really stands out is the Net income at the end of 2014. Target had recently gotten themselves completely out of the Canadian market and with the closing of all 133 stores lost money along the way. Target did bounce back very nicely though. The pro forma numbers were found back taken the average of the two previous years. Target seems to have a steady stream of profit, total assets, and total liabilities and stockholders’ equity in the coming years.

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is an example of a current framework that supports literacy and mathematical development; within the EYFS these are identified as the specific areas. This framework identifies the role of the practitioner in supporting these 2 specific areas, ‘literacy development involves encouraging children to link sounds and letters and to begin to read and write. In Session 1, you were asked to read CCU’s Strategic Objectives. Review the strategic objectives again in light of what we have talked about thus far in the course. Identify two of the strategic objectives that reflect a Biblical, or Christian, Worldview and explain how you see the elements of the worldview exemplified. “Teach students to trust the Bible, live holy lives and be evangelists.” (Strategic Objectives at Colorado Christian University, n.d.)

In designing a process or standardized approach to caring for or accomplishing a task with a specific population, I would start by defining my population and then my goal by creating an AIM(s) statement. According to the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), and AIM(s) statement should be population specific, measurable and time-specific (n.d.). Furthermore, Dr. Berwick encourages people to think big and be amibitious when setting their AIM(s) and reinforces, that if it needs to be further refined or re-evaluaated, that can be done later (Berwick, n.d.).

This in turn increases productivity allowing MainFreight to offer a high level of customer service. This gives MainFreight the opportunity to gain new customers because of its reputation. Satisfied existing customers will continue to remain loyal customers helping MainFreight to meet its vision of being a 100 year
How are mission statements, program goals, program objectives, and a program philosophy related? • Mission statements, program goals, program objectives, and program philosophy all relate and bring “flow and balance” to a program/mission plan. My educational goal is to earn a degree in Biology and Spanish from the University of California, Riverside, in hopes of getting a job inside the laboratory department at Kaiser. Based on labs that I have already done at the University, I found that I enjoy working in a similar setting. I would love to have the opportunity to shadow a connoisseur in a similar work environment, as it would be a valuable learning experience. I come from a low-income family in Oakland, California.
