In the play “Romeo and Juliet” written by William Shakespeare. Romeo is a Montague and Juliet is a Capulet. They are not allowed to see each other due to their last names. There is a feud with the two families. There is a consivercy whether or not Romeo and Juliet are really in love. There are several reasons presented throughout the play that show evidence that Romeo and Juliet are really in love. Three of these reasons are when Romeo took the risk of seeing Juliet on the balcony, Romeo and Juliet decide to get married, and that Juliet does not marry Paris. Romeo shows that he loves Juliet very much in the play by taking a very big risk and going over to her balcony to see her. If Romeo and Juliet were caught together or if Romeo was caught while sneaking onto her balcony there could have been a very bad outcome. An outcome such as possibly making the feud between the two families worse. Romeo and Juliet show that there love for each other is real by getting married. These are news indeed!” (3.5.117~124) This is Juliet explaining that she will only marry Romeo even that it is forbidden and Lady Capulet wants her to marry Paris. Juliet decides to come up with a plan with the Friar to make Juliet “dead” for a few days. The Friar gives Juliet a potion and with that potion Juliet becomes very nervous of what the outcome is going to be. She hopes that everyone will believe that she is “dead” and the wedding will be canceled.
