F. Management of training and workforce diversity
If managers in companies were given a choice between using trained or untrained employees, most of them would choose trained employees. But what if they were told that training employees costs a lot of time and money? Probably some of them would rather use untrained ones (Benton, 2014)! However, failed training and under-training can definitely end up costing more than they expect. There are many reasons that lead to this result, such as inefficiency of untrained workers, the time and money lost due to mistakes made by untrained workers, and the lost of customers (Benton, 2014), just to name a few.
Never see customers just customers, they are guests, and help the guests.

After a while Walt found that he made a wrong decision, "I couldn't have outside help and still get over my idea of hospitality," he said (Jones, 2014). Today, Disney is still casting its own members and using third parties, "We hire for attitude, not aptitude." said Walt Disney, who had put much effort in uniting all the employees in the same goal: to help the guests. Developing Disney's own model and best practices for hiring and retaining employees with high skills that understand and convey the beliefs and values of the business is the key for Disney to produce outstanding results.
The steps Disney takes to train its New Cast Members
For every new cast members into Walt Disney World, Disney takes a top-down approach starting with the big picture and then bit by bit drills down to the specific tasks that each individual member will perform. This helps the members to have a whole understanding of Disney and where they fit it, and also helps to ensure excellence across the organization (Fritscher, 2014). Diversity is crucial for a company's success since flexibility and creativity are keys to competitiveness (Kelli Green, 2008). It is very important and necessary for a company to embrace workforce diversity and look for ways to become inclusive because diversity has the potential to generate greater work productivity and competitive advantages (SHRM, 1998). Disney sees diversity as a pillar of its growth strategy, its products and attractions include multiple ideas that strive to meet the needs of global guests, viewers, and fans all over the world (The Walt Disney Company, 2014). According to Paul Richardson, the chief diversity officer, Disney has striven to not only attract but also include individuals who reflect the diverse world that we live. Moreover, Disney seeks to ensure that the workplace is inclusive and provides the opportunity for all of the people to contribute and develop to their full potentials (The Walt Disney Company, 2014). Having employees from different countries and wide range of different backgrounds allows Disney to understand and meet the needs of its customers, thus it has been focusing on keeping diverse workplaces at every level.
