The Tubbs Model of Small Group Interaction provides the analysis of the internal influence in how a small group can use a reflective thinking process for decision-making. Internal influence is all about the actual functioning of the group. In our studies about the reflective thinking process, is describes as the process that individuals of the small group should go through as they work on problem-solving for decision-making. The first is to define and to understand the problem before the group can solve it. Second, to analyze the problem and know all the different factors that are involved. The third is to establish criteria for a solution; therefore, before the group comes up with the solution, there should be guidelines for making a solution to work the best. Then the forth, the group should consider various solutions to the problem with a whole range of ideas. In step five, the group can choose which one is going to be the best by using the criteria that the group decided in step three and the analysis from step two. As the group evaluates the solution, we will rank by the list of criteria, which will have all the solutions and the criteria together and on a created chart. On the far left the group to have all of the criteria listed, and on the top of the chart, the group listed all the solutions from the brainstorm. So, once the table chart laid out, then it is just a matter of going through and looking at each solution and seeing how well it measures up to each criterion.
