1.) B2B marketing is taking a good or service is sold from one business to another, instead of a business selling to a consumer (Business Dictionary, n.d.). Two of the B2B markets to target market for CVS would be Producers and Resellers. The producers include manufacturers and service providers (Saylor Foundation, 2015). The resellers are what the name says – companies that sell goods and services that comes from other producers. CVS needs to purchase items, food, medicine, health care needs, household items, beauty supplies, etc. from the producers to turn around to resell to the customers.

One MIS that CVS would benefit from is the Internally Generated Data and Reports for sales, inventory levels, customers returns, etc. Clickstream data would keep data for the internet website visits, purchases, what they viewed while on the site, etc. Another MIS that CVS could use is the Market Intelligence. It is important to gather information outside the store as it is on the inside. A SWOT analysis would help increase sells, profit, offer customers more products, discontinuing products not selling, etc. to better the company and in turn, increasing customer base because the customer should be happier once the SWOT analysis is finished. Customers are very important to watch, after all, they are the reason CVS is in business. Watch for signs from the economy and the customer. Market research can be done when the company feels it is needed. The company can do the investigating or it can be contracted to a marketing research firm (Saylor Foundation, 2015).
