The business we chose to focus our project on is Publix Supermarkets. On Sept. 6, 1930, founder George Jenkins opened his first store, called Publix Food Store, in Winter Haven Florida. Today Publix has grown to be Florida’s largest employer with 168,500 employees and run 1,080 stores. Total sales in 2013 were 28.9 billion, relatively large for a regional corporation. Their mission statement is “To be the premier food quality retailer in the world,” and they’re doing an excellent job at it.
Weekly 2 Upon reading this paper, one will gain a better understanding of American Eagle Outfitters’ financial reports. We will discover when American Eagle Outfitters’ most recent reporting year ended. American Eagle Outfitters’ balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements will be examined. The amount of net income and the amount of revenue for the most recent year will be displayed, along with the company Ernst & Young LLP whom audits American Eagle Outfitters (Bethel, 2017). American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. is a casual apparel company similar to Abercrombie & Fitch (Saunders, Olazábal, Cave, & Sacasas, 2002).
We created a questionnaire for the Mustang Outfitters store, to target the students of the Fine Arts department here at Central Baptist college. The questionnaire was formed to evaluate how satisfied the students of this department are with the store and the products that they sell. The goal is to ensure that mustang Outfitters is reaching their customers in the best way possible. We evaluated this by asking the students about pricing, locations, Mustang Outfitters compared to other stores, and asking if there were enough products for students of the fine arts department. Results from these questionnaires gave us the information we needed to make recommendations and the best strategies to use to reach that goal.

Boundless strives to help women move forward and become successful in whatever they want to accomplish. We do this by having designated bins in our stores where people can leave clothing that they no longer want. We do this because we want women to feel and look confident no matter the occasion.

Their mission is to provide great services to the community and how have local fresh grown produces in each and every store. Kroger wants to become the world’s largest distributor of goods and services in the world. So far Kroger has achieved that goal such as they have a wide ban of family Companies and they have surpassed every company that in their same line of business. They have values witch they abide by through each and every company.

Urban Outfitters offers products ranging from women's and men's apparel to home goods and beauty. Many of the products offered are exclusive to Urban Outfitters and are “designed internally and in collaboration with third-party brands” (Urban Outfitters, Inc.). Urban Outfitters is a Brick-n-Click retailer with 263 stores across North America and Europe.
It is said that what one eats is what he or she is. That is also true with fashion, where one shops is who he or she is. The customers that shop at Urban Outfitters are rebellious and creative. These customers are in the age range of sixteen to thirty years old, including men and women. The customers who shop at Urban Outfitters are not afraid to show their individuality and express their quirky ensembles.
Ruby Tuesday’s Mission statement is Quality, Passion and Pride. When it comes to eating there I would expect the employee to know the mission statement and what it means. This is what the company stands for and if they don’t know it they very well could not be fulfilling the company’s objective. I have seen many of the waitress exhibit these behaviors and relay they know what their company promises. Mostly Quality, they ask how the meal is and if something is wrong they don’t hesitate to take it back to the kitchen to make sure it is right.
To me, Northland’s mission statement means that I can get a new perspective on my education by learning from an environmental standpoint. With this new perspective of learning, I will be able to live a sustainable and enjoyable lifestyle while preparing for my future. I can focus on my passions and strengthen them to become successful within the natural resources and environmental career fields. The programs at Northland will help me achieve my personal career goals in ways that would not be possible at other schools in the country. Northland offers me the education and experience that employers are searching for.
