As a little kid, I loved cartoons. I would spend every Saturday morning I would turn the TV on and my brother and I would watch Nickelodeon or Disney Channel. All of the Disney cartoons interested me and kept me entertained for hours. I cherished every trip my family and I took to Walt Disney World. Personally, I have always admired Walt’s work because it gave my childhood a splash of colorful joy. Disney is so crucial to the animation industry because he was the first to do so many things and no one else can achieve what this man as done in only 65 years of life, we can all learn not to give up on our dreams from Disney’s great examples.
Walt was born in Chicago on the 5th of December in 1901. As a young kid, he was interested in art. He would draw and his aunt and neighbor gave him encouragement. In 1911, he and his family moved to Kansas City. There, Disney’s father purchased a newspaper route and for the next six years Walt helped with the deliveries, working before and after school and on weekends. In 1917, his father sold the paper route and moved the family back to Chicago, where he was employed at a jelly and fruit juice company.
