Every business should have a well-documented workplace policies and procedures an organisation without policy is an organisation without control. This is very important in today’s changing workplace, policies act as a guiding frame of how the organisation works its important as it deals with day to day problems or show others how to respond to requirements to comply with legislation and regulation. It’s vital that every employee is aware and have a clear understanding of the workplace policies and procedures and what they are trying to achieve for their organisation. Policies and procedures are also to help manage staff more effectively by defining acceptable and unacceptable behavior. An employer will provide every employee with a book/manual containing all there polices and procedures. These policies and procedures are to be implemented and fair to all employees/managers throughout the workplace, it will be clear and should be easily understood to whom the policies and procedures
