Europe is the second smallest country, right before Australia, with the area of 4,066,281 square miles. The western portion of the landmass is referred as Eurasia. Europe separates with Asia along the Ural and Caucasus Mountains, and the Caspian and Black Sea. Being near the ocean and the few seas they have many ports, which have helped the growth of Europe. Europe is very famous for their renaissance era, where there were castles, kings and knights; sadly there are no longer king and knights, except in England where they have contained to contain their royal family. Europe is divided geography into four regions, the Northwestern Highland, where mountains are neither very high nor rugged, the European Plain, where most of the eastern and central of Europe are plains, the Central Upland, where there are low mountains and high plateaus, and the Alpine Mountains System with the Sierra Nevada, Alps, and other mountain ranges. Most of the people live in cities or villages, even who live in the agriculture areas, live together in a village. Most of the Europeans consider themselves as Caucasian; there are many differences in the skin, hair, and eye colors. These differnces along with ethnic, linguistic, and religious differences have resulted in the large number of small political divisions in Europe. The British Isles are a group of island in the Atlantic Ocean northwest of Europe. In which includes the great islands of Ireland and Great Britain, as well as 5,000 other smaller islands. They are detached to the mainland by the English Channel, the North Sea and the Strait of Dover.
