Romeo and Juliet Act III In Act III of “Romeo and Juliet” a lot of key points lead up to Act IV. The pictures I've chosen to display on my poster are some of the symbols that represent Act III in the best form. The picture of the fighting scene represents the fight between Tybalt and Mercutio, and soon Romeo. This picture is important because this fight leads to Tybalt and Mercutio's death, and later Romeo's banishment. Blood, blood can represent a lot of things, but in the context of Romeo and Juliet, the blood is a symbol of the blood shed during the fight, and the death. Death, can power so many emotions, sadness, anger, guilt all of these things build up inside of Juliet causing her, the Nurse and Lady Capulet to break down in tears.
