The skills I need to accomplish my goals would be the ability to articulate my thoughts well and to work on my public speaking all together. I would also need to work on my leadership skills. Without good leadership skills, I would not be successful in making the difference in the community and would not have the ability to organize the group. I also need to work on my ability to organize a group to work affectively. I need to completely revamp my internal personality to make me more of an external personality. I would have to overcome my doubts about myself and find confidence that I can achieve anything. There needs to be funding that is set aside to house children who have families and who do not have families. Teachers and volunteers need to be paid to come and work with the children at the centers to assist in their ability to improve in their schooling. In the program there needs to be accomplishments that include many art assignments, learning games, sport activities, drama classes, a music class, and tutoring classes for homework. (Grineski, 2014). This is important to increase the GPA of the displaced children and give them the chance to succeed as members of society. Smaller group sizes would insure that all children are given the help they require to improve in their curriculum. They could also learn and grow their talents which in return may assist in their better understanding of themselves and will build self-confidence. Giving a child the chance to find their talent could give them the motivation that would be needed to succeed in other areas of their lives.
