What’s Great about Space?
By: Aleena Slomp
Should Americans use advanced technology when it comes to exploring space? Yes, because new advanced technology gives people more opportunities when it comes to exploring space. According to “Leaving Main Street”, advanced technology inspires different college students to pursue innovative projects and careers in STEM areas. Also according to “Future of Space”, certain humanitarian needs have to be met on Earth, once they have been met this leads to more technology advantages and opportunities that can really benefit space exploration in the future. Americans should take the time to explore space because it’s not too expensive and it creates more and more technology advantages.
One reason why Americans should explore space is that humans are naturally curious and competitive and want to explore beyond the Earth. According to “Leaving Main Street”, it states that if they take away space exploration society, will have forgotten what it’s like to be a human. It also states in “Leaving Main Street” that all Americans need the prospect of exploring not just space but everything else.
