Technology is something that has recently taken the modern world by storm and will probably evolve more and more over the next decades. Children use technology in their everyday lives. When it comes down to texting on their phone and doing their digital assignments, some people don't realize how much technology is stored around us. Hopefully, we can continue to advance more and more on this subject, but according to edweek.org, "Only thirty percent of middle schools offer to teach students about computer science." Seventy percent of younger kids would love to pursue their dreams in coding, but can't since no schools bother adding anything to help students achieve their dreams. This is why Hallie Wells Middle School needs a robotics club for its students. People may think that robotics clubs may be expensive since all of the parts the students need to build, but it only costs around $1500 which might seem like a lot when you compare it to a soccer club which has to spend loads on jerseys, goals, and the balls.
