The career that I will be researching is going to be automotive mechanics and technicians. The automotive mechanics and technicians career is based on fixing passenger vehicles. The aspects of this career field can involve working in close proximity to other mechanics, technicians, or customers. The automotive career can range from working on simply diagnosing a simple issue to performing preventive maintenance all the way up to replacing the parts of the powertrain such as the engine or the transmission. I’m working at has a bad stigma from the local areas. I have had to defend my job and my students a lot to the community and other teachers. I work with a veteran staff and I have had the opportunity to work with great teachers. I feel welcomed and the principal is trusting in my abilities and has provided me the opportunity to run my own program and I’m still making adaptations to reach all of the students.
