It is considered murder the baby is not born yet. Abortion is one of the most widely discussed topics in America. Some think it's unethical to snatch the life away from an unborn baby. Each year there are roughly six million pregnancies in the US, with about 20% of them ending in abortion. Globally the practice of abortion, terminates millions of pregnancies each year. There has been many wars fought in America for the same issue is abortion right is it moral. There is a famous quote by Dr. Seuss this is a person is a person no matter how small. If we can accept the fact that a mother has killed her own child how can we tell someone not to kill each other. For instance the procedure of dilation and evacuation. Doctors use four sets to grab ahold of parts of the baby and then literally tears the baby apart when the baby's head is crushed so that it can be easily removed from the womb. There are some cases where it could be acceptable and ethical to kill an unborn baby like if there is a terminal disease or it was an act of criminal negligence in which the cases that the mother or father should be able to choose if the baby lives or not only if only it will cause pain and eventually death to the baby after born. Some people say that a woman should be able to have an abortion no matter what stage she's in. On the other hand people say it's murder no matter what stage of the development. there are many people who believe that the fertilized ovum is a human and has a soul. These are the pro-life people. They believe that life starts at conception. They believe this because of the religious means and have no way to scientifically back it up.
