Romeo and Juliet is a play about star-crossed lovers. Romeo is apart of a high class Montague family; their rival is the Capulet family. Romeo falls in love with the daughter of Lord Capulet. They want to get married but they know that this will not be approved between their family feud. This is why they secretly ask Friar Laurence to marry them in secret.
As humans, we all play a game, especially as small children. This game is the blame game, in the story The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet there are multiple characters you could potentially blame for the death of all the characters that died. I blame Juliet, she is one person from the story I wish would have just made some better decisions and the outcome could have been so much different for every character that died. There are multiple examples of why things could have been totally different if Juliet had just been not such an idiot. She makes a series of bad decisions that force all the characters in the story to wallow in depression about all of the unfortunate events.
In the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, many people could be blamed for the multiple deaths, but one man was extremely careless.. Many people believe that Romeo is to blame because of his ignorance and pride. Others blame Juliet for the tragedy because she was secretive and headstrong. And most people blame the parents of Romeo and Juliet for their ignorance and pride when it came to their children. I blame Friar Lawrence for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet because of his many unsettling interactions when he aided Romeo and Juliet in their secret love affairs.
Obviously, Friar Lawrence wanted Juliet to be underneath so Romeo would be waiting on her so they could both escape. Friar Lawrence was to blame for Romeo and Juliet. Unlike friar Lawrence, they wanted their love to suffer. And wanted everyone to believe that Juliet was being dealt with. Friar Lawrence wanted Juliet to take the potion and probably wanted her to die.

Friar Laurence is to blame because he pushed Romeo and Juliet to get married, he was unable to get the letter to Romeo on time, and he gave Juliet a potion that put her to sleep for 42 hours. Doing that tricked everyone into thinking she was dead.
One would think the people to blame are Friar Lawrence, Balthasar, and fate/Romeo. For Friar Lawrence there is plenty of evidence to point it is him who did it. As for Balthasar well he had a small part, but it contributed a lot to the events that occurred. Fate well let’s just say that it didn’t go Romeo’s nor Juliet’s way. These are the people to blame and here is why.
In the play, Romeo and Juliet, there are several significant details that help the reader comprehend who is to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death. First, the character Friar Laurence might be the one to blame since he marries Romeo and Juliet hoping it will stop the Montague's and the Capulet's from fading. Another important detail is he also gave Juliet a remedy so she didn’t have to marry Paris and for 2 days it will seem like she is deceased. The third detail important to the play is Friar Laurence was sending a message to Romeo that Juliet is not dead, but that she is sleeping, but Friar Laurence’s message never made it to Romeo. Another important detail is he knew immediately that when the message didn’t reach Romeo
