Martin Luther King Jr. played a very important role in the Civil Rights Movement. He wrote the “I Have A Dream” speech and presented it. In 1955, he was involved in the Montgomery Bus boycott. The Montgomery Bus Boycott came to be by Rosa Parks refusing to give up her sit on the bus. Martin Luther King Jr. was born on the 15th of January in 1929. He was the middle child of Alberta Williams and Michael King Sr. King. Both families were from in real Georgia. He married Jennie Parks and had one child that survived, Alberta. Martin was a pastor of a baptist church. Martin Luther King Jr, wrote the “ I Have A Dream” speech in 1963. This speech is considered to be among one of the greatest speeches of American history.
