Statutory Law: This law is been written to be followed by everyone coaches, teachers, pupils, managers etc. and these law is been put it to make sure that health and safety is kept everywhere in sport. If people don’t follow the statuary law they will face charges. If we look at the health and safety at work act in 1974 it doesn’t say that if people don’t follow this act will face charges and that is why this law is out so it can make sure all the people are flowing the health and safety at work act not just doing what they’ve asked them to do. The duty of care is a legal regulation to coaches, teachers …., because if they have a group of student to take care about and if there is a danger that could put those students under any risks then they have to take them to safe environment so no one could get hurt. For example if in Maindy’s leisure centre there is a football session in the sport hall and the floor is wet then if one of the kids slips and hurts himself then the coach will get under troubles this is because their duty of care it to make sure all the kids are playing in a safe place but not in a place where the kids could get hurt.
