Why Marijuana Should Not be Legal Cannabis has been the topic of debate for years now and has grown in popularity through media and normal debate through people. Widespread talk has been increasing in between people and has been and there is lots of speculation whether it should be legalized. Yet there is lots of issued just leaving it to the general public with such a responsibility in their hands. The legalization of the marijuana is dangerous after it has so much availability to people. The availability after legalization leaves the door open to the general public making dangerous actions and more likely to be abused, with the abuse comes larger dangers to health and brings the general public and youth in grave danger. A large target of this drug would be youth (New Health Adviser,6 Oct. 2016.), which will be the next generation to work and teach yet such things would not be achieved with reckless and damaging substance abuse and addiction. This drug -as shown- can cause many damaging effects and those effects, if smoked at a young age, can create different issues in brain development (National Institute of Drugs, Mar. 2016). Not only so, they also lower the IQ of one and could really damage youth in multiple ways. Furthermore, after it becomes more available to the public in any way whatsoever it can certainly damage anyone that abuses such drug. As said, the drug after use can cause violent and dangerous reactions in one's nature and will place many people at risk and add to the total amount of violent and abusive crimes. With that, smoking such plant can also affect even the non-users. The fumes may also damage many others lives that do not implement themselves in such actions. In addition, residue from this drug can linger in unsuspecting areas, places, and could affect other animals and people.
