At every job I had to go to, I brought my book with me so I can read more and more. I found time to get a lesson before my
I can be goofy at times and I try to make people laugh as much as I can. I would describe myself as determined and focused on school. I try to get involved with as much activities as I can. I am funny at times, but can be serious when I need to be.
Throughout my years I have achieved multiple academic awards and accolades. To get to to a point in my education where I was able to receive such great awards took serious dedication not only on my part but all the teachers as well. Learning new material in various topics does not come easy to me. I started off certain classes like geometry or spanish with no clue what I was doing and even a few bad grades in the beginning. Specifically, I failed my first geometry test with a 54 in ninth grade and that did not sit well with me and from then on Mrs. Brown took the time out her own schedule and stayed after to
From as early as I could remember I noticed I was not like the others kids. I had an interest for things most kids would not be interested in. I liked interacting with people, knowing about people and their life stories; I wanted to help in anyway that I could when I would hear everyone’s problems. I thought outside the box throughout my whole childhood and I wanted to make the most out of my knowledge. I told myself that I was going to dedicate my life to helping my community.
A lot of the time, however, I would pull kids out of class and help them on a paper that they didn't understand or we would read books together. I loved to help them because it put a smile on their
Beyond math and science, there are a few other hobbies I have. I am particularly musical; playing instruments and singing have been a piece of my life since I was small. In the time following when I started drawing a few years ago, I have improved rapidly. Currently in drama, I am the assistant director of the class play. As a person in that position, I have become more sociable and confident.
I would interact best in the Hufflepuff house. Hufflepuffs are known to be kind. I always strive to be kind in everything I do. For example, at my little brother’s muggle soccer games, I amuse the younger children. This allows the parents to enjoy and watch the game.
Adolescence is an interesting age filled with new experiences, emotions, and developments in all areas of a young person 's life. In the film series, Harry Potter, the young adolescent Harry Potter is no stranger to these complex developmental issues. In fact, there are many theories that can help categorize the many changes and behaviors Harry Potter presents throughout the film. The first theory, researched by Diane Baumrind, which is important to look at deals not directly with Harry Potter, but with the parenting style of his aunt and uncle. After this discussion, a conversation about Erikson 's eight stages of psychosocial development is important in determining how his past influences his present actions and behaviors.
As a child I always desired to study math and science. There is just something about solving problems, and finding solutions that catches my attention. Learning about the world, and how it function is very interesting to me. These subjects have help keep me wondering what I could learn next, and the reason being that I am a scholar in my classes. One accomplishment that I am proud of is being on the A&B honor roll.
It’s fun to not go the way that the rest of the world is going. I enjoy forming my own way in this world, even if I do get weird looks for it. I like to be out of place, the stoic, the outcast, the weird kid. It gives me the opportunity to be as crazy as I wish and still get away with it. There is an event or style that defines every generation, but that’s not always the best thing, for example Woodstock or Y2K, and I do not want to be remembered as a part of that fad.
My first three years of school I did not get good grades and got held back. After second grade, I became a good student. I put in more effort and became one of the top students in my class. I cared about how I performed in school. Before I got an interest in reading my education was not off to a great start.
Peers and some of my family thought I had nothing else to do with my life than to study. Moreover, my friends were not the most intelligent but they were amusing, entertaining and awesome in class. Teachers appreciated them more in class. I wanted to be like them
But that confidence soon began to subside. In elementary school, we would have an annual test that determined whether a student can be placed in an advance or tutorial reading class, and every year I would be placed into the advance reading courses, so when it came time to take the test, I knew there wasn’t anything for me to worry about. And even though my score was one of the highest in the class, I still ended up in a reading tutorial class. I was a little taken aback by it, but it didn’t stop me from my love of reading and writing and plus I could switch out of those classes is I showed improvement. So I did my best to try and show that I didn’t need the extra help like some others did, but all my hard work went in vain
National Junior Honor Society The five standard qualities of the National Junior Honor Society are character, scholarship, leadership, service, and citizenship. This is what the five qualities of the Society mean to me and how I show them. A positive character shows honesty, caring, trustworthiness and generosity. I tell the truth even when I have made mistakes. I show caring when I help with the Brownie troop with the young girls.
The French Revolution best met the enlightened ideals of liberty and equality compared to the Haitian and Venezuelan revolutions. Liberty is the state of being free in society from oppressive restrictions imposed by one’s authority. Equality is having the same opportunity, status, and rights as someone else. The French Revolution was the only revolution that carried out the ideals of liberty and equality successfully. The people of Venezuela revolted because Spain controlled the colony to bring in profit, but the people of Venezuela wanted freedom so they did not have trade restrictions.
