Lord of the Flies Book Report Lord of the Flies is a book by William Golding, the winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, and his famous book, Lord of the flies, was one of the reasons why he got this prize. It was a very good book showing the evil in a man’s heart, including the children. In this book, Golding illustrated three main characters, Ralph, Piggy, and Jack which represent three different kinds of people, authority, far looking and smart, and evil. The plot of this book is that a group of children was landed on the island in the airplane. There was war during the time. The main characters, Ralph and Piggy was the first two landed and they got together, Piggy found a conch and let Ralph blew it to gather more people together. After, there were several children heard the sound of the conch and came to piggy and Ralph. There was also a group of choir. Then, they tried to elect a chief of the group. The leader of the choir, Jack, and Ralph was competing. Finally, Ralph won and became the chief. The children hunted and made fire to let people to see them. However, once, Jack and his hunters went to hunt and didn’t check the fire. The fire was extinguish and at that time, a ship came. This started the quarrel between Jack and Ralph. After some time, Jack gathered all his hunters to question Ralph’s authority. Because of the less number of people, Ralph failed to stop Jack and Jack and Ralph split into two. Simon and Piggy was killed, and Ralph was going to be conquered and killed by Jack. He tried to escape, but Jack put fire into the forest.
