Early years-Born in Stratford -upon -Avon, a busy ,market town on the Avon River.This birth date is estimated to be April 26 , 1564 as church records say that was the day he was baptized. Not from a rich or royal family his father was a sample glove marker who was once a mayor.It is said that Shakespeare recieved his schooling at the local grammar school in Stratford .Unlike most writers of his day he did not go to a university instead he got married at the age of 18 , he married Anne Hathaway with Whom he had 3 children. …show more content…
He also started up the Blackfriars Theatre and built the Alobe Theatre in London. Shakespeare stopped writing plays after 1613.He later died in 1616 and was buried in his parish church in Stratford. On his grave he may have written himself reads : God friend ,for Jesus sake forbear To dig the dust enclosed here . Blest be the man that spares these stones, And Curst be he that moves my bones.
