Introduction “I had the luck to be called upon to give the roar,” (Winston Churchill, 1954). Every leader will be faced with a crisis during their leadership, but how they respond to the crisis truly defines the leader. The best leaders already have strategy in place for worst case-scenarios to prevent the crisis from escalating, but even unprepared leaders still need to rise to the occasion. The leader will need establish a damage control strategy to contain the crisis. The country was looking for a leader to motivate them to victory with a courageous spirit.
