When going through the process of writing an essay, or any type of paper, there are many steps to tackle. Each step is unique in its own way, and for me, is ever-changing. In order to create different styles of papers, I need to have various processes going on in my mind. From the pictures given, I feel that a few of them relate to the non-changing parts of my process. First off, when I start my writing technique, I usually do not know where to begin. That is why and how I directly relate to the advertisement saying “what’s next”. In order for me to figure out “what’s next” I need to brainstorm up an abundance of ideas by typing or writing my thoughts out of what might make a great paper. I normally do this by just typing whatever pops into my mind about the subject onto the simple, blank document. In the advertisement shown on the wall, there is a perfect sandwich, that sandwich reminds me of how I try not to snack on anything while I write or type my papers. For me, eating does not help, it only takes away the focus on what’s really needed of me at that moment. In the past, it has been somewhat difficult to write while I eat, snack, or anything like that because of how distracting it can be. Another thing that always takes away my focus when I am trying to write is television or music. If the music is blaring, or there’s a good t.v. show on, I cannot get any work done properly. So I have definitely learned from experience not to do anything remotely distracting while typing or writing an essay.
