On June 28, 1914, World War I was a huge outbreak of the War. The world's first global conflict, the “Great War” with the allies and Central powers that were going against each other after the assassination Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The central powers were Austria-Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire. The allies were Serbia, Russia, France, Britain, Italy, Belgium and the United States. The Zimmerman note was a huge conflicted Between Britain and Germany. Germany wrote a note for the ambassador in Mexico saying that if they support Germany in the war they would help them fight the US for the lost territory New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona. The British were able to get a hold of the note and gave it to America and this was one of the reasons the US declared war on Germany.
