Young’s 24 hour daycare provides a much needed service to the local community. With the growing amount of working families, there is an increasing need for a high-quality 24 hour daycare service. This would provide families more possibilities with their job choices, and will also offer a tremendous relief for families struggling to find adequate childcare. Finding exceptional, dependable and reasonably priced childcare, while trying to work is one of the biggest difficulties families have to deal with. We will serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Depending on the times in which your child is there, will determine which meals they shall receive. Please make the staff aware of any allergies or special food requirements your child may have upon registration so we are able to make any arrangements needed. Milk or juice is served with all the meals and snacks, and water is offered throughout the day. We also provide baby food for infants. Some of the food provided are, oatmeal, yogurt, ground turkey, refried beans/cheese, scrambled eggs and much more. We also accept subsidies such as, The Child Care and Development Block Grant. This helps low-income and working families with child care cost. According to Naeyc, “One out of three families with young children earns less than $25,000 a year. Yet, full-day child care can cost anywhere from $4,000 to $10,000 and up per year” (National Association for the Education of Young Children). In the journal, “Family Relations”, it states that the federal government has expanded its spending on childcare since the (PRWORA) in 1996. This act consolidates funding into block grants. $20 billion was giving out from 1197-2002(Danziger,Ananat,Browning).We want families to know we are here to help and will work them to help find whatever subsidies are available for their family. We also offer a sliding scale for low-income families who can't afford the regular rates.
