Recommended: Importance of leadership in education

The 5 Strong Scholarship Foundation - " From Matriculation to Graduation!" The 5 Strong Scholarship Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit 501c3 organization. Our team consists of experienced educators that have over 30 years of experience helping minority students graduate from high school and get into college. We have teamed up to form a foundation that's dedicated to building cohorts of 5 College Ready Scholars and placing them on the campuses of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Each 5 Strong Scholar will receive a full tuition scholarship from one of our partnering HBCUs. These teams of 5 Strong Scholars will be leaders in the classroom and on campus. The 5 Strong Team will support and mentor each Scholar "From Matriculation to Graduation!"

The 5 Strong Selection Process All 5 Strong applicants will apply online to begin the application process. Applicants that meet our minimum requirements and have a track record of true leadership will be selected to attend a group interview session that will take place in Atlanta, in January 2017. Selected applicants will be chosen from our group interview session to attend our second round interview. Our vision is to help increase retention and graduation rates of Historically Black Colleges and Universities by placing cohorts of 5 Strong Scholars on HBCU campuses nationwide each year.
