There is always to sides to abortion.
There are always to sides to every story, good or bad, and there is no exception to the subject of abortion. Pro-choice and pro-life advocates, who go head to head on debates and arguments concerning abortion and the rights of those, who choose to have them. There are no concrete answers to the questions that both sides have been asking each other. During entire verbal disputes, with very few arguments have there ever been any points about the future of the woman and child. Consequentially, the main focus or fundamental debates that pro-choice and pro-life advocates have is when does life begin is the fetus alive and have a soul the moment of conception? And since when does society permit one human to intentionally harm or take life away from another human being, without the punishment or retaliation of punishment. So, abortion is not different. But, if we look at this scientifically, personhood does not begin at conception like all pro-life arguments state. If a fetus or embryo is removed from the womb before twenty-four weeks it will most likely die because there is a forty percent chance survival rate. Because fetus cannot survive outside the mother’s womb, then is it really alive? Is it a breathing living person? So, if we look at the flip side of the coin, abortion can occur when the baby can survive outside of the womb. So, where is the moral reasoning when it comes to abortion, should a woman carry a child because its morally wrong to kill the fetus before it is fully developed, should a woman keep the fetus if the doctor says that the child will be born with complication and birth defects or impairment that will prevent the child from having a natural life when its born? Will the pro-life pay for the woman’s medical bills when the baby is born, will they pay for the expensive prescription and equipment that will help the child live?
