Abortion one of the biggest controversial topics in America but also one of the least talked about topics, do to the controversy that follows it. Both sides, Pro-life and Pro-choice, provide strong points and strong beliefs; but many Christians do not see that Pro-life is the side they should and for. Also to many it is so hard to choose which side is in the right and which is in the wrong. After bringing religion, core beliefs, opinion, and emotions into the argument many wonder if they truly know what abortion is and consist of. As Merriam Webster states the medical term for abortion is, “the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus”. Ultimately meaning, a procedure used to end a pregnancy and cause the fetus to die. Abortion is a chosen procedure that the women or potential mother chooses; and that is performed by a Doctor who has had the proper training and education. As I cited from Merriam-Webster Pro-life is against abortion and Pro-choice is for for abortion. I personally believe is you are showing women that being irresponsible is ok. Because it’s not showing there are consequences for you actions. As they would point out for cases of rape and possible medical issues; rape victims or people with medical issues have been taken care of to keep the baby if possible instead of just choosing or going straight to an abortion. When we are letting them choose they don't want a baby because they chose to have sex and accidentally got pregnant they need to learn there are consequences.
