Can you imagine living on a planet that rained for seven years but stoped for just one hour? Well this is what happened in a short story/movie called "All Summer In A Day" by Ray Bradbury (book) and Ed Kalpan (movie) where these children are on Venus and they have different personalitys and memories, it's based off of kindness is more powerful than jealousy. This story/movie captures how the movie/story shows forgiveness during the end when Margot's feeling and William's actions are turned into forgiveness and also kindness. The theme of the movie was “kindness is always the answer” but then the theme changed during the end of the movie, "All Summer in A Day" shows kindness when William let out Margot out of the closet and Margot didn't get upset she was respectful and kept her words all to herself. This all started when, "They unlocked the door, even more slowly, and let Margot out." (Bradbury 7) Margot came out slowly and calmly, but was silent. It all started when, "They turned through the doorway to the room in the sound of a storm and thunder, lighting on their faces, blue and terrible." (Bradbury 7) This quote was when William and the class locked Margot inside the closet and they forgot about her when the glorious, gleaming sun came out, after the past hour it died down and it was gone. But then one girl asked "Where's Margot?" That's when they let out Margot out the cold and dark closet, begging for forgiveness and then she saw William with an ashamed and terrible face looking down then Margot left the room in disappointment and silence. William was outside in the pouring rain when Margot came out side and touched William shoulder saying in silence it's alright I'll get over it it's ok as the days pass
