1. An ambiguous leadership affects an organization by creating an uncertainty within the organization and thus creating doubt amongst the workers. While creating uncertainty and doubt, the workers within the organization can become lost and will be unable to do their jobs effectively, due to the lack of information. Ambiguous leadership creates a goal that is not focused, nor clear, thus creating an endless circle of events masking what needs to be done and what they need to get the job done. An ambiguous leadership will lead the organization to their downfall, for they are creating chaos within the organization, demoralizing the workers, and sometimes will be covering up underlying issues within the organization.

Partisan Politics is the game of politics in which a member of a party aims to exert their power from the bottom of the organization to the higher ups of the organization. Partisan politics allows for an organization to be able to have negotiations between the administration and the main workforce, thus allowing the creation of coalitions or unions, allowing workers to fight against the administration, should they feel that they are being unfairly treated.
Partisan Politics can be a good and bad thing, but is dependent on the situation, for instance, in a construction site, the workers may create their own coalition to push the head contractor to raise their wages, thus allowing them to collectively bargain. The department needs to be selective in who they hire, as well as look for workers who will be ideal for their organizational goal. After they have hired good candidates, maintaining, investing, and empowering the workers is a long-term goal, for they will need to reward them to keep them from turning over. The human resources department will need to invest in them, through trainings and sharing wealth, but also allow them to have some autonomy and support.
