This article from the Lera Blog states that black women face more abuse than white and asian women. In addition, it states that some of these african american women are very silent about being abused because they want to do not want to disrespect their culture. It backs ups these claims using data from the Black Women’s Blueprint organization. I like this article because it uses a lot of facts and data and is not very subjective or biased. The information in this article will be useful for me because it will give me data to show how domestic violence affects different groups

It begins by explaining what domestic violence really is and then talks about the various types of abuse related to it (e.g. physical, sexual, economic, and emotional). Also, this page gives information and numbers of a domestic violence agency that is on call 24/7. Moreover, since this information is from the Department of Justice, I know that it is accurate and valid. I will use this source to explain the types of abusive behavior for my project.

This article from the Samaritan House describes historical events relating to the domestic violence movement. In addition, this article states how these events were significant to this movement and helped women fight back against domestic violence. Overall, I think that this is an average source because it does not cite sources for all of the data and rather just explains. However, I still think that I could use to describe some events that helped battle against domestic violence.

The author states and explains tips for individuals who are facing domestic violence and others who are not but could definitely help. It is great how she lists facts and sources for most of the tips. I truly feel that everyone should read this article because it greatly shows how we can end domestic violence with a team effort. Although some of the tips are common sense, Nonel explains them in way that sticks with us and reinforce the seriousness of this issue. In my project, I will use some of these tips for solutions to domestic
