The article shows that while Facebook and other media can be very detrimental and upsetting, the trendiness and fun outweighed the cost for the subjects. This article also goes through the previous information and literature regarding the social learning process as it relates to current media usage. The social development and learning outcomes in this article demonstrate the relationship that can be achieved by successfully introducing social media into the classroom. This article is credible as it is peer reviewed and the author is a Doctor who is the senior Lecturer at the University of New England. This information will support this essay by giving evidence towards the usefulness of social media.

This article takes a look at social media use in education. This research mostly focuses on using social media as a tool, and not specifically teaching how to use it. It does evaluate different types of media and classifies it, and give examples of using each in education. Klimova is credible as an employee at University of Hradec Kralove and has had this work peer reviewed. This information will be used to articulate differences between the social media, and it’s potential teaching capabilities in education.
