Annotated Bibliography: Cell Phones This is an annotated bibliography for research on cell phones. I am researching the positive and negative effects of using cell phones in school. I plan to use these articles for the effects that cell phones have on students in and out of class, the impact it has on the health and the grades.

The only thing worse than cheating on a test or distracting everyone around you is cyberbullying. “Cyberbullying is more pervasive because the bully can reach a large number of people at once. It also may be more harmful because the bully does not have to be physically present while the person is being bullied.”(Thomas Mcgee 21). This causes major issues inside and outside of school. Cell phones make it easier for bullies to reach more people in a shorter amount of time. It makes it to where they can hide their identity. Phones make it so much easier for bad things to happen.

It helps them stay in contact with the teacher and other students about assignments they may have forgotten. Using the internet or texting is a very common thing now and it is helpful, but also a problem. Texting causes to many distractions for student at school, at home and social media.
