R&J PBA Argumentative Essay Think about the time you have ever been in love, and how much you loved that person. Is it true love or just a crush? Would you have ever gone as far as Romeo and Juliet went to save their relationship? I know I wouldn’t. I know I wouldn’t. Romeo and Juliet both risk their lives so they can be with one another which is understandable, but at a certain point in time it isn't as Romeo takes his life without knowing and explaining why Juliet had “DIED”. Shakespeare’s tragic play “Romeo and Juliet,” demonstrates how the “two star crossed lovers” fall in love but are terribly heartbroken after they find out they aren’t allowed to be in love with one another. As the play goes on, the Capulets and the Montague still don’t have a clue that Romeo and Juliet had gotten married or that they had fallen in love with each other. The characters most responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet are the Apothecary because he doesn't think before acting as he gives Romeo the potion just so he can get himself out of poverty, and Friar Lawrence due to the action he takes to give Juliet a potion to fake her death. However, some may blame the Nurse for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet as she does absolutely nothing to stop these “star crossed lovers” weddings. To start with, it can be argued that the Apothecary is responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet as he decides to sell Romeo a poison that will kill him in an instant. This action of the Apothecary can affect Juliet as she can’t live without her other half, the person she loves the most on this Earth. This goes to show how the Apothecary didn’t care about Romeo and Juliet’s situation and how he only looked out for himself and not others around
