Before coming to Full Sail University, I had encountered many obstacles. One in particular placed so much doubt in my mind and made me question if this was what I truly wanted to do, or who I wanted to become. Leave my family that is grieving over our loved one, or follow my dreams that my grandmother wanted to see being achieved? This was the hardest decision, each passing day tore me in two and knowing that both of you have doubts about this career choice, because you don’t see what it does and can do. What I’ve faced is similar to her, yet different as well this female artist started at the bottom and slowly worked her way to the top.
The attached resume details my experience and training within the fine arts. Not only I've had training and learning experiences in the arts, I've also worked with others and teaching them the skills that I've learned. My educational background has given me a strong understanding of art and the wonderful experience that goes with it. I am applying for this position because I'm passionate about all art forms and I also enjoy teaching. My teaching philosophy is to have fun, enjoy what you are passionate about, create, and to make it your own.
By successfully gaining a bachelors degree in sculpture I will be able to further my studies to become an art therapist, where I can help people like myself, or anyone who has an ailment find peace and focus through the expression of how they feel. Furthermore, I will be able to show those who feel stuck or handicapped a way to be free of negative self image but putting it on paper and turning something dark into a beacon of beauty and self appreciation. The movie falls short of capturing the genuine essence of the real-world creative realm by misrepresenting various aspects of art education. It inaccurately sexualizes nudity, fails to portray the passion and dedication of art professors, exaggerates art school stereotypes, simplifies the challenges of art education, and wrongly asserts that pursuing a career as an artist is impossible. In reality, the art world celebrates the beauty and significance of nudity as a powerful artistic tool for creative expression, while art professors are known for their enthusiasm, creativity, and genuine appreciation for their students ' growth. Art schools are diverse and inclusive environments, attracting individuals of various backgrounds and interests who work hard to excel in their craft. Furthermore, with dedication and the right skills, pursuing a career as an artist is entirely possible, as the art world offers numerous opportunities for success.
I have chosen Honours Arts & Business at Waterloo because it offers a unique approach. One of my major goals going into this program is to gain a broader perspective and open up opportunities for myself within the arts and business community. The co-op option is also another reason why I choose this program as it provides me with real-world experience that will help me further my career.

It is also important that the school and the school counseling program’s mission are in alignment so that they both work together to support the students (American School Counselor Association [ASCA], 2012). After graduation I hope to enter the workforce as an entry level junior art director within an advertising agency or film studio in order to gain enough experience to advance to being a senior art director. These are the steps that I’m considering to reach my ultimate long-term career objective of owning a Creative services and post production company. I was Born and Raised in the Dominican Republic. As I grow up I Developed interest in visual Arts. My family decided to migrate to the United States on my early teenage years, but it wasn't until was 18 I decided to enroll into the Digital Arts program at Bronx Community College where I started to explore different art mediums and the love for Photography & Fashion. Where I come from people that study art is considered privileged, or not taken seriously.

I possess a strong vision for my goal to become a an art educator, which has been impacted by my previous experiences and commitment in the arts through textile design, fine art, fashion design, and teaching. This interest in the arts was fostered throughout my education at the Langley Fine Arts School, and my BFA degree from all-women’s college Moore College of Art and Design. In my degree, I majored in fine art with minors in textile design and art history. This opportunity was brought into fruition through the Women’s Visionary Scholarship, and the Board of Trustees Scholarship that were awarded to me to be able to attend this institution.
They think studying liberal arts is a future of unemployment and uncertainty. But, it is important to override these belief because of the large opportunity for art majors in the world. My experiences as a child, influences, and mentors have inspired me to study art history at Belmont and I want to share my experiences and knowledge of my process. What drives you to study art and pursue a career in this impressive field?
Fashion is my method of self-expression. The clothes we choose to wear gives us control over how others perceive us and affects how we feel about ourselves. From wearing black at the Golden Globes in support of the Time’s Up movement to the traditional Chinese Qi Pao, clothes can show solidarity without words or act as a way for us to connect to our cultural heritage. This is why fashion is important to me, because it allows me to tell a story about who I am and who I aspire to be. I have chosen to further my Management studies at the London College of Fashion because the MA Fashion Design Management covers themes essential for managing a successful fashion brand, which has always been a dream of mine.
