The purpose of this essay is to reflect on working within a group for Assessment 2a and Assessment 2b. To understand the different organisational behaviour theories that were prevalent in the way we interacted as a group, and to analyse my role within the group. When working within a group, one must remember that there are a lot of different personalities. To keep control of the members, it is wise to work within a group that you are known to, have had some dealings with prior to working with a group, as that way, you know how the people work and what they expect of someone that they are going to work with. To analyse yourself, you will need to look at the dimensions of self- concept, which according study.com (2015) self-concept is the way in which we view ourselves, based on our habits, skills and temperament. The group that we had for assessment 2a and 2b, was a team of highly motivated students that all agreed on what they wanted to achieve. From the start, we had a group meeting and we agreed on what roles we would play, what the strengths of each of the members was, and how we were going to use these strengths to the advantage of the group in reference to the assessments.
