Ethical Consideration:

It is essential to consider the Ethical issues before collecting the required data and throughout the research process. Accordingly, I will follow ethical approval procedures as required by the IOE- UCL. Furthermore, data will be shared with my supervisor only, and I will keep it in a safe place (BERA, 2011; Thomas, 2013).
As I will be conducting my research project in the same school where I currently work, ethical considerations should taken into account as an insider-researchers as being an insider researcher will be challenging. In fact, educational research literature highlights the advantages and disadvantages of insider research (Schön, 1983; Lomax, 2002, Mercer 2007, Robson, 2011). In my research project being an insider researcher has more advantages than disadvantages. Indeed, being an insider in the school where I work is beneficial as I am familiar with the context before conducting the research and throughout my study. However, similar to Mercer (2007), as an insider researcher, I should avoid research bias. Doubtlessly, the participants should be informed about the purpose of the research. Though, I will avoid sharing with them my own opinion about the topic. Also, I will make sure that the information I share with the participants before the interviews would not bias the collected data. In fact, being the head of school, I should be cautious when I conduct the interviews with the participants. Otherwise, the participants especially the young ones would share with me what I need to hear (Mercer, 2007) which will affect the research
