In 2010, I set out on a journey with Bethel University to achieve a lifelong goal of completing my undergraduate degree in organizational leadership. After almost five years, I got that degree with the added bonus of Summa Cum Laude honors. I found the Bethel University program to be a great fit with my lifestyle. The program allowed me to easily concentrate on one subject at a time while working fulltime. My success is attributed to embracing the courses while using years of experience to form a greater understanding of the concepts presented in the program.
My undergraduate degree is one of my greatest accomplishments; however, I am finding the need for a graduate degree to further my career. I know the human resource management master’s degree combined with my experience will give me the advantage I need with my employer, FedEx. I have found that many career opportunities end up being limited to only those candidates with graduate degrees. I plan to use this opportunity to set yet another milestone in my life.

My undergraduate degree was instrumental in my earning an entry level human resources position after years in a call center customer service environment. I am now in a human resources position helping employees with questions about company policies and procedures. In order to further my career, in our human resource organization, I will need to obtain a graduate degree. The Bethel University, Master of Business Administration Human Resource Management Program is what will set me apart from the competition at FedEx. Combined with my years of experience this program will give me the knowledge and skills needed to succeed. Having excelled in the writing-intensive undergraduate program at Bethel University I am fully prepared to move on to the graduate program. I hope to achieve the Summa Cum Laude recognition once
