God is the Creator The question of how the world was created has been a age long question that has been talked about for thousands of years and still hasn't been solved. Some people think that the world was created by a burst of energy which was called the Big Bang. The side that Christians side with is the fact that there is a all mighty God who is the creator of the world. Christians believe in the fact that God created the world and they believe this because it says the he did so in the Bible. Genesis 1:1 in the New Living Translation of the bible says, “ In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1 NLT) this is the main verse that every one who is a believer in God uses to say that God is the ultimate creator of the earth. Then genesis goes on to explain what God created on each day and how he said after every day that it was good. There are Four major sections to the old testament. The first five books of the old testament are called the Pentateuch which consists of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. These five books are also knows as the Five Books of Moses as well because that were all written by him. After the Pentateuch are the historical books of the old testament which are Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 and 2 Samuel, 1 and 2 Kings, 1 and 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther. Following this are the Books of Wisdom which are poems and songs. These books consist of Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and the Song of Solomon. Next are the Major Prophets which are Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi. All these books create the old testament and give us plenty of places to find things that help figure out what God is like and how he is the creator or the
