This organizational analysis provides an overview of the Dress for Success San Antonio (DFS San Antonio) nonprofit organization. I will highlight some strengths and challenges, and describe ways that DFS San Antonio can overcome those challenges to further its growth and development. DFS San Antonio is facing two major managerial and operational challenges: (a) lack of sufficient and diverse fundraising income; and (b) inadequate engagement in fundraising activities from the board of directors. These two challenges exist primarily because DFS San Antonio does not have a dedicated development department; and because the board of directors is not as actively engaged in fundraising as they should be.
Kiwanis Organization: The Kiwanis International web page has a clear mission statement of, “serving the children of the world.” Furthering this statement, Kiwanis is located in nearly 96 nations with the same goals of helping their communities; however, each community is different making each Kiwanis organization unique in their own way. When Kiwanis was first found in Detroit, Michigan, 1915 their mission statement

From hands-on service around the world, to originating successful fundraisers, I participate in various aspects of community service. Some of my fundraisers have even been published. I currently spend most of my time doing service towards my fundraising project expanding access to education. I could not imagine being one of the over 75 million children without access to education. As I was beginning my hobby of DJing, I immediately decided that I will partner with Pencils of Promise (PoP) to start my own fundraising project where twenty percent of my profits from every event DJ’d will go to the organization.
As my final years of high school draws near many of my family members begin to bombard me dying to know what my plans are for the future. Questions such as; where I plan on going to college or what I intend on majoring in. In the summer of my sixth-grade year, I was accepted into the Bogota Police Emergency Services Youth Academy. Their extensive week-long training program is what shaped me into the woman the I have become today. There mission statement: The mission of the Emergency Services Youth Academy is to expose children to the importance of public service.
According to their website, their mission statement is “The Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine exists to inspire discovery and imagination through exploration and play. The Museum & Theatre serves as an indispensable resource for families and educators, helping to create a broad community devoted to our children's development and learning” . It is easy to figure out that they are mainly serving the children and dedicated to use their programs to provide them a better opportunity of learning through the arts and science. The mix of both visual arts programs and performing arts programs is definitely one reason to keep them active and successful since families can enjoy both performances and events at the same venue. In my opinion, their services

With fundraising ideas that relate to the interests of the public, the foundation could earn more donations. Make-A-Wish foundation already does a lot to inform the public, but there are people in the United States that do not ever hear about donating to grant a child a wish. By reaching out to news stations around and proposing to them that this foundation betters a sick child, Make-A-Wish would be better known. All it takes is a little more getting known by the United States, and possibly the world and this foundation would soar. Organized walks with admissions unite people, and also different kinds of "a-thons" earn money.

Based on the course objectives I was able to recreate my vision and mission statement for my early childhood education organization. I’ve learned the importance of incorporating my mission and vision into my hiring process, furthermore by incorporating them into hiring new job candidate it ensured that they hold the same values and ethics as my organization & their purpose is to provide quality education and services to the children and families we service. From this course I’ve learned that if someone’s sole purpose is to make lots of money childcare is not the business for them, however the childcare business could be lucrative at times when done right. I’ve also gained the understanding that as a childcare provider you must properly equip
