According to Google bullying is "use superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically to force him or her to do what one wants". Bullying happens in various ways, not just a face to face confrontation at school. Bullying can be physical, verbal, social and cyberbullying. Physical bullying is when hitting, kicking, tripping, pinching, punching, or damaging property is being done. Verbal bullying is name calling, insults, teasing, intimidation, homophobic, or racist remarks that are being said. Although this sometimes doesn't cause much harm, in the beginning, it can escalate to harmful levels. Social bullying is harming someone's reputation or cause humiliation. Cyberbullying is utilizing technology to cause harm either publicly or the victim is the only one that knows about it. No matter what type of bullying is being done it's still bullying and it all has the same ending if the victim doesn't speak up. …show more content…

These children get bullied by bullies that perceive themselves as dominant or feel the same way the victim is feeling but does not like to show it. By bullying others it makes them feel better about themselves. When kids get bullied at school they are always afraid of going to school and are always aware of where they go.
